NEW YORK, Sept 30 (Reuters) - Federal Reserve Bank of Boston President Susan Collins said Tuesday she’s less worried about tariff-related inflation risks.
“While I do expect tariffs to continue feeding through, I'm no longer expecting as large an impact as I had some months ago,” Collins said at an appearance at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York. She noted strong productivity may be a factor helping blunt the increase in price pressures related to higher import taxes.
