
SINGAPORE, Sept 26 (Reuters) - Singapore's pharmaceutical industry association is monitoring developments closely, it said on Friday in response to U.S. plans to target the sector with a 100% tariff from next month.
U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday announced 100% duties on imports of branded drugs.
Semiconductors, consumer electronics and pharmaceutical goods, account for about 40% of Singapore's exports to the United States, according to Singapore's central bank.
