BERLIN, Sept 24 (Reuters) - German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said on Wednesday that the auto, steel and chemical sectors must remain key industries in the country.
Merz, in a speech to parliament, added that concrete proposals to reform the pension system will be made this year.
He also called for lower costs in the German aviation sector.
