SEATTLE, Sept 11 (Reuters) - Boeing BA.N CEO Kelly Ortberg said on Thursday the planemaker is seeing inflationary pressure on its supply chain.
However, he does not expect any supply chain problems in the company's plans to increase production of its best-selling 737 MAX from a federally-imposed cap of 38 aircraft a month now to 42 per month by the end of the year, Ortberg said while speaking at the Morgan Stanley Laguna Conference.
The company still has to stabilize one of its six key performance metrics before it increases 737 output, he noted.
