POLISH PRESIDENT VISITS THE USA
President Donald Trump on Wednesday said the U.S. could increase its troop presence in Poland and pledged to secure the country's defence during a White House meeting with its conservative nationalist President Karol Nawrocki.
PRIME MINISTER TUSK IN PARIS
On Thursday, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk will attend a meeting of the Coalition of the Willing in Paris.
Consultations with the leaders of countries supporting Ukraine will focus on recent developments related to the plan to end the war in Ukraine and ensure its security, the government press office announced.
During the visit, Prime Minister Donald Tusk will also hold a bilateral meeting with the President of France.
INTEREST RATES
Poland's central bank cut its main interest rate by 25 basis points to 4.75% on Wednesday, as most analysts had expected, pointing to a decline in inflation and drawing attention to risk factors related to fiscal policy and increased wage growth.
On Thursday at 1300 there will be a conference with the President of the National Bank of Poland, Adam Glapinski, who will present the justification for this decision.
POLISH ARMAMENTS GROUP
Polish Armaments Group (PGZ) has signed an agreement with PKO BP bank PKO.WA increasing the group's investment limit to 12 billion zlotys ($3.3 billion) from 2 billion zlotys, which will be allocated to defence projects, Puls Biznesu daily reported.
DEBT
On Thursday at 1300, the Polish Ministry of Finance will publish the supply of Treasury bills that will be offered at the auction on Friday.
