Fed's Cook has no comment beyond prior statement on mortgage issuee

JACKSON HOLE, Wyoming, Aug 22 (Reuters) - Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook on Friday said she had no further comment on the controversy regarding mortgages she has taken on out properties in Georgia and Michigan beyond her prior statements on the matter.
Earlier on Friday President Donald Trump said he would fire Cook if she does not resign from the Fed. Cook on Wednesday said she would not be bullied into resigning.
