Aug 20 (Reuters) - Crude inventories fell by 6 million barrels to 420.7 million barrels last week, the U.S. Energy Information Administration said, compared with analysts' expectations in a Reuters poll for a 1.8 million-barrel draw.
Crude stocks at the Cushing, Oklahoma, delivery hub USOICC=ECI rose by 419,000 barrels in the week ended August 15, the EIA said.
Refinery crude runs USOICR=ECI rose by 28,000 barrels per day in the week last week, while utilization rates USOIRU=ECI rose by 0.2 percentage points to 96.6%, the EIA said.
U.S. gasoline stocks USOILG=ECI fell by 2.7 million barrels in the week to 223.6 million barrels, the EIA said, compared with analysts' expectations in a Reuters poll for a 0.9 million-barrel draw.
Distillate stockpiles USOILD=ECI, which include diesel and heating oil, rose by 2.3 million barrels in the week to 116 million barrels, versus expectations for a 0.9 million-barrel rise, the EIA data showed.
Net U.S. crude imports USOICI=ECI fell by 1.22 million barrels per day, EIA said.
