EU-US trade deal brings relief for German auto industry, says Mercedes

BERLIN, July 28 (Reuters) - Mercedes-Benz MBGn.DE on Monday welcomed an agreed reduction in U.S. import tariffs, calling this a relief for the German auto industry in a statement to Reuters.
The automaker, however, urged continued dialogue between the European Union and the United States to further lower trade barriers, emphasizing the importance of cooperation for the sector's growth.
