DURBAN, South Africa, July 17 (Reuters) - Bundesbank President Joachim Nagel said on Thursday that Germany's forecast economic growth of 0.7% for 2026 could potentially be negated by tariffs currently under consideration by U.S. President Donald Trump.
Speaking to Reuters in an interview, Nagel also said that if these tariffs are implemented in August, the possibility of a recession in Germany in 2025 cannot be ruled out.
