NEW YORK, July 16 (Reuters) - Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland President Beth Hammack did not comment on the economic and monetary policy outlook in a speech Wednesday.
In her prepared remarks to the Cuyahoga Community College Corporate College 20th Anniversary Celebration, the bank president did note an ongoing issue on the hiring front, saying “no matter where I am in the district, I hear from employers that a nearly universal challenge is a lack of available talent in manufacturing and the skilled trades.”
