July 2 (Reuters) - Greece's jobless rate stood at 7.9% in May, down from 8.3% in April, data from statistics service ELSTAT showed on Wednesday.
Seasonally adjusted data showed 370,369 people were officially unemployed.
Unemployment impacted women more than men, at the rates of 9.8% and 6.2%, respectively.
The jobless rate for young people aged 15 to 24 years dropped to 19.9% in May from 25.2% in the same month in 2024, ELSTAT said.
