Tesla sales in Portugal rise 7.3% in June, as total EV sales jump

July 1 (Reuters) - Tesla's TSLA.O new car sales in Portugal rose 7.3% in June from the same month in 2024 to 1,315 units, as overall new registrations of light electric vehicles rose about 19%, the country's automobile industry association ACAP said on Tuesday.
In the first six months of the year, Tesla sales still fell 25.3% in Portugal to 4,088 units, while the total of light electric cars soared 30%.
