July 1 (Reuters) - U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent on Tuesday said he was confident that China will uphold its recent agreement to accelerate the pace of rare earth minerals and magnet shipments.
"We are hoping they will flow at a faster rate," Bessent said in a Fox News interview. "Rare earth magnets are flowing. They are not flowing as they did before April 4, but we are confident the Chinese will live up to their side of the deal."
