VOTE OF CONFIDENCE
A vote of confidence in Poland's government will take place on Wednesday, as Prime Minister Donald Tusk seeks to regain the initiative for his ruling pro-European coalition after it was shaken by a presidential election defeat.
PRESIDENT-ELECT
Polish President-elect Karol Nawrocki said that he sees room for cooperation with the government on security and foreign policy issues, is open to dialogue, but will not do anything that would undermine the president's prerogatives, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna daily reported.
POLISH-AMERICAN PRESIDENTIAL TALKS
Polish president-elect Karol Nawrocki said on Tuesday he spoke with U.S. President Trump on the phone and discussed the two countries' "close relations".
POLLS
According to the IBRiS poll, support for the current Polish Prime Minister, Donald Tusk, is falling - 35.1% of respondents assess his activities positively, compared to 41.6% a year ago, and 57.8% negatively, compared to 40.9% in June 2024, Rzeczpospolita daily reported.
EU FUNDS
Polish Deputy Minister of Funds Jan Szyszko said that thanks to the revision of the National Recovery Plan (KPO), around 10 billion zlotys ($2.69 billion) will go, among other things, to the construction of shelters and water intakes, another PLN 10 billion to road infrastructure, and PLN 2 billion to cybersecurity, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna daily reported.

On Wednesday at 1000 the Polish Ministry of Finance will hold a bond switch tender.
