June 10 (Reuters) - Greece's annual EU-harmonised inflation accelerated to 3.3% in May from 2.6% in April, data showed on Tuesday.
Month-on-month consumer inflation rose by 0.4%
The cost of food and non-alcoholic beverages rose 3.1% year-on-year in May, with prices of housing up by 8.0%, the data showed.
EU-harmonised inflation is an index of components that is used across the EU to measure inflation in a consistent way.
Official statistics service ELSTAT also reported that headline consumer inflation in May rose to 2.5% from 2.0% in April.
