TOKYO, June 9 (Reuters) - Japan's economy contracted an annualised 0.2% in the January-March period from the previous quarter, a slower pace than the preliminary reading, government data showed on Monday.
The revised figure for gross domestic product (GDP) released by the Cabinet Office compared with economists' median forecast and the initial reading of a 0.7% decline.
On a quarter-on-quarter basis, GDP was flat, compared with a median forecast and the initial estimate of a 0.2% drop.
