US transportation department announces $5.4 billion for bridge funding

June 2 (Reuters) - The federal government will make available $5.4 billion in grant funding for building, replacing or repairing bridges across the country, the U.S. Department of Transportation said in a press release on Monday.
"Under President Trump’s leadership, America is building again,” said U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy in the release.
