New Tesla sales in Spain fall 29% in May, while other EV sales soar

MADRID, June 2 (Reuters) - Tesla's TSLA.O new car sales in Spain fell 29% in May from the same month in 2024 to 794 vehicles, registration data released by industry group ANFAC showed on Monday, while sales of electric cars from other brands soared.
Over the first five months of 2025, sales of Tesla cars in Spain fell 19% from the same period a year earlier, while total sales of electrified vehicles, a category that includes both fully electric vehicles and hybrids, were up 72%.
