
HOUSTON, May 21 (Reuters) - U.S. crude stocks, gasoline and distillate inventories rose in the week ending May 16, the Energy Information Administration said on Wednesday.
Crude inventories rose by 1.3 million barrels to 443.2 million barrels in the week ended May 16, the EIA said, compared with analysts' expectations in a Reuters poll for a 1.3 million-barrel draw.
Crude stocks at the Cushing, Oklahoma, delivery hub USOICC=ECI fell by 457,000 barrels.
Refinery crude runs USOICR=ECI rose by 89,000 barrels per day.
Refinery utilization rates USOIRU=ECI rose by 0.5 percentage points to 90.7% in the week.
U.S. gasoline stocks USOILG=ECI rose by 0.8 million barrels to 225.5 million barrels, the EIA said, compared with analysts' expectations for a 0.5 million-barrel draw.
Distillate stockpiles USOILD=ECI, which include diesel and heating oil, rose by 0.6 million barrels in the week to 104.1 million barrels, versus expectations for a 1.4 million-barrel drop, the EIA data showed.
Net U.S. crude imports USOICI=ECI rose last week by 110,000 barrels per day, EIA said.
