SHENZHEN, China, May 11 (Reuters) - China's car sales rose 14.8% in April from a year earlier, as government-subsidised auto trade-ins mitigate the impact of U.S. tariffs on consumer sentiment.
Passenger vehicle sales totalled 1.78 million units last month and were up 8.2% at 6.97 million units in the first four months, data from the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) showed on Sunday.
