China's vice premier calls on government to support businesses in face of US tariffs

BEIJING, April 24 (Reuters) - China should focus on the needs of businesses and strengthen policy supply to face up to the new situation of recent U.S. tariffs, Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng was quoted by state-run Xinhua news agency on Thursday.
The country needs to respond to external shocks and stabilise growth with a better business environment at its ports, He said during a meeting on facilitating cross-border trade in Beijing.
