RPT-Vietnam keeps GDP growth target unchanged after U.S. tariffs, state media says
HANOI, April 3 (Reuters) - Vietnam's Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said on Thursday the country's economic growth target of at least 8% this year remained unchanged, hours after the U.S. announced severe tariffs on the Southeast Asian country, state media said.
Chinh said he would set up a task force to deal with the situation and said the tariffs did not reflect the good relations between the two countries, state broadcaster Vietnam Television said.
