Romania aims to sell domestic debt worth 7.7 bln lei in April-finmin data

- Romania's finance ministry aims to sell domestic treasury bonds and bills worth around 7.7 billion lei ($1.67 billion) in April, including 795 million lei at non-competitive tenders, it said on Monday.

The ministry has scheduled nine bond tenders with residual maturities ranging from 1.2 to 10 years and two auctions for one-year and seven-month treasury bills.

Romania has sold just under 30 billion lei worth of domestic debt in the first quarter, and tapped foreign markets twice, selling 5.55 billion euros worth of 2030, 2032, 2034 and 2039 eurobonds and $1.25 billion worth of 2037 paper.
