BERLIN, March 12 (Reuters) - World Trade Organization reported little change in its trade barometer at the start of the year but warned on Wednesday that trade policy uncertainty looms.
The WTO Goods Trade Barometer ticked up to 102.8, nearly unchanged from the previous reading of 102.7 from December. Readings greater than 100 suggest above-trend growth.
"However, increased trade policy uncertainty and the prospect of new tariffs could weigh on trade in the medium term," the WTO said.
