OTTAWA, March 10 (Reuters) - Canada plans to launch a U.S.-dollar-denominated global bond on March 11, the country's finance ministry said in a statement on Monday, but did not give an amount.
The bond will help the Canadian government maintain liquid foreign reserves at or above 3% of nominal gross domestic product, it said. It last issued a U.S. dollar bond on April 23, 2024, with a value of $3 billion (C$4.32 billion).
