March 4 (Reuters) - Greece's jobless rate stood at 8.7% in January, down from a downwardly revised 9.3% in December, data from statistics service ELSTAT showed on Tuesday.
Seasonally adjusted data showed 408,181 people were officially unemployed.
Unemployment impacted women more than men, at the rates of 10.9% and 7.0%, respectively.
The jobless rate for young people aged 15 to 24 years dropped to 19.5% in January from 23.2% in the same month in 2024, ELSTAT said.
