BEIJING, Feb 25 (Reuters) - China's exports to the U.S. may fall sharply as U.S. President Donald Trump's tariff hikes will hit bilateral trade, Wang Yiming, a policy adviser to China's central bank, said at an online event on Tuesday.
Changes in the external environment will increase pressures to expanding domestic demand this year, Wang said, adding it is difficult for emerging industries, such as new energy vehicles and lithium battery, to fill the demand gap caused by the adjustment in the property sector.
