Greek unemployment drops to 9.4% in December

Jan 30 (Reuters) - Greece's jobless rate stood at 9.4% in December, down from a downwardly revised 9.5% in November, data from statistics service ELSTAT showed on Thursday.
Seasonally adjusted data showed 443,639 people were officially unemployed.
Unemployment impacted women more than men, at the rates of 11.3% and 8.0%, respectively.
The jobless rate for young people aged 15 to 24 years dropped to 21.0% in December from 23.7% in the same month in 2023, ELSTAT said.
