BEIJING, Jan 13 (Reuters) - China will take "necessary measures" to safeguard its legitimate rights and interests, the country's commerce ministry said on Monday, in response to the Biden administration's export control measures for artificial intelligence-related technology.
The U.S. government said earlier that it would further restrict AI chip and technology exports, maintaining a block on exports to countries including China.
