ADVISORY-US wholesale inventories, sales data to be released a day early on Jan. 8

Jan 6 (Reuters) - The U.S. Census Bureau will release its wholesale inventories and sales data for November at 10 a.m. EST (1500 GMT) on Wednesday, Jan. 8, a day earlier than originally scheduled.

"Due to the executive order closing the federal government on Jan. 9, 2025, the Monthly Wholesale Trade Report will now be released on Wednesday, Jan. 8 at 10:00 a.m.," the agency said on its website.

The U.S. government will be closed for a national day of mourning on Thursday, Jan. 9, to honor former President Jimmy Carter, who died on Dec. 29 at the age of 100.
