Lutnick says Commerce Dept will start issuing statistics on blockchain

WASHINGTON, Aug 26 (Reuters) - U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick said on Tuesday the Commerce Department will start issuing economic statistics on blockchain.
"We are going to put out GDP on the blockchain so people can use the blockchain for data distribution, and then we're going to make that available to the entire government," Lutnick said.
