Revolting! Fans horrified at Adrien Brody's disgusting act as he wins Best Actor Oscar

Although Aiden Brody has been commended for his impressive acting skills, he will certainly not be getting one for good manners.

The 51-year-old actor horrified fans with a 'disgusting' act as he won his second Best Actor Oscar at the ceremony on Sunday.

Aiden took home the award for his role as László Tóth in The Brutalist, beating nominees Timothee Chalamet, Colman Domingo, Sebastian Stan and Ralph Fiennes.

However, it is not his huge win that everyone is talking about, but instead the moment he walked up the steps to collect his award. As Aiden approached the stage, he turned around, took his chewing gum out of his mouth and threw it to girlfriend Georgina Chapman.

The 48-year-old, who is also disgraced director Harvey Weinstein's ex, was seen running up to her partner and catching the chewing gum before he made his speech.

Although Aiden had a chance to redeem himself during his speech and to address the 'disgusting' act, he did not and instead gushed over his win, saying: 'Winning an award like this signifies a destination and something my character references in the film.'

'But to me, it also, beyond the pinnacle of a career, it is a chance to begin again and the opportunity to hopefully be fortunate enough so that the next 20 years of my life, I can prove that I am worthy of such meaningful, important and relevant roles.'

He did however thank Georgina and the two children she shares with the jailed director, saying: 'I know it’s been a rollercoaster. Thank you for accepting me into your life,' before revealing that the children call him 'Popsie.'

Horrified fans took to X to slam the star for the chewing gum throw, with one user writing: 'adrien brody could’ve used his long speech to apologise to his partner for throwing gum at her.'

Another penned wrote: 'Adrien Brody THROWING his gum at Georgina Chapman while on the stairs to accept his award I honestly more shocking to me than Will Smith slapping Chris Rock.'

We have no doubt his publicist will be busy today!
