'He is a kid with feelings' Kourtney Kardashian issues statement about rumours around her son Mason

Kourtney Kardashian has put end to speculation surrounding her 15-year-old son, Mason Disick. The reality TV star addressed the viral rumors on Sunday, March 2, through a rare statement shared on her Instagram Stories, denying claims that Mason has a child.

'I rarely address rumors or conspiracies regarding myself or my family, but this is about my child, and it feels wrong to let anyone think for a second that these lies are remotely true. They are not,' Kardashian, 45, wrote. 'Mason does not have a child.'

She also called out fake social media accounts impersonating her son, saying that he values his privacy. 'These accounts that pretend to be him are definitely not. They are FAKE,' she stated.

'My son really values his privacy, and I am asking all media to please be respectful: he is a kid with feelings and a beautiful life ahead of him. Please stop spreading false narratives and spinning lies. And to all the other people making videos about my kids (who, by the way, are minors), please stop and leave them alone.'

Although Mason has largely stayed out of the public eye in recent years and no longer appears on The Kardashians, he has been making occasional appearances in family photos.

In May 2024, he launched his first official Instagram account, sharing rare photos of himself. His first post featured a snapshot of him posing outdoors on a balcony, head dipped and wearing a cap, a black T-shirt, and baggy khaki pants.

A second image showed him with his back turned to the camera, displaying his outfit. Mason’s social media debut was met with emotional responses from his famous family. His aunts Khloé and Kim Kardashian were emotional saying 'I can't believe this is happening,' Khloé, wrote, while Kim, said 'You're really on Instagram.'

In January, Mason's father, Scott Disick, opened up about his son's dating life on the first episode of Khloé's podcast, Khloé in Wonder Land. Disick, 41, shared advice he has given Mason, particularly regarding honesty in relationships.

'Mason especially, if he’s going through something, you know, I talk to him about my life. Like mistakes that I did. Like here’s what I’ve done and what’s worked for me, what hasn’t worked for me,' he explained.

He noted that Mason has started to take an interest in dating, adding, 'I just said, 'You know, it’s like, you can do whatever you want, just don’t lie and don’t manipulate any girls. If a girl tells you she wants to maybe do something with you and hook up or whatever, if she knows that you’re not in a relationship with her, don’t tell her you are just to get something out of her. And he’s like, ‘No, I know, I get it.’

Kourtney Kardashian shares Mason, daughter Penelope, and son Reign with her ex, Scott Disick. She is also a mother to son Rocky Thirteen, whom she shares with husband Travis Barker.
