Tyson Foods sees 'spotty and regional' efforts to expand US cattle herd, CFO says

CHICAGO, May 13 (Reuters) - U.S. cattle producers are making "spotty and regional" efforts to rebuild the nation's herd, Tyson Foods TSN.N CFO Curt Calaway said on Wednesday, as tight supplies push up beef prices for consumers.

Cattle supplies will remain tight moving through 2026 and into 2027, Calaway said on a webcast of a BMO conference.
