WASHINGTON, May 11 (Reuters) - President Donald Trump said on Monday he will reduce the federal gas tax, seeking to blunt the impact of rising pump prices.

His swift rejection of Iran's response to a U.S. peace proposal fueled concerns that the 10-week-old conflict could drag on and continue to paralyze shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.
