Gas prices affecting Americans but will come down after conflict, Bessent says

WASHINGTON, May 4 (Reuters) - U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said on Monday that gas prices are affecting Americans but they are expected to come down quickly when the conflict of Iran ends.

The U.S. is opening of the Strait of Hormuz and help is on the way, Bessent said in an interview with Fox News.
