Treasury's Bessent says that oil prices will come down after Iran war

May 3 (Reuters) - U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said on Sunday that energy prices, which are currently surging amid the U.S.-Israel war with Iran, should decline later this year.

“Oil prices on the other side of this conflict are going to be much lower,” Bessent said on Fox Business Network’s "Sunday Morning Futures" program.
