Austria urges full implementation of Iran-US ceasefire after Pakistan talks
BERLIN, April 9 (Reuters) - Austrian Chancellor Christian Stocker on Thursday said he congratulated Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for facilitating a ceasefire between Iran and the United States, and assured him of Austria's full support for a diplomatic solution.
Stocker also said in a post on social media platform X that freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz in accordance with international law must be ensured. He called on all sides to fully implement the ceasefire and cease all military operations.
