BEIJING, April 7 (Reuters) - China will raise the maximum retail prices for gasoline and diesel sold domestically by 420 yuan ($61.11) per metric ton and 400 yuan ($58.20) per ton, respectively, from Tuesday night, the country's state planner said.
To mitigate the impact of rising international oil prices on the domestic market, the government is continuing to implement measures to control refined oil prices, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) said in its statement.
China last raised the maximum retail prices for gasoline and diesel on March 23 by 1,160 yuan per ton and 1,115 yuan per ton, respectively.
