MOSCOW, April 2 (Reuters) - President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that Russia would help Egypt with supplies of grain.
"Egypt is our partner, and in this regard I would like to say that last year we achieved good results in agriculture, with a good harvest; we have no supply issues and do not expect to have any in the future," Putin said in the Kremlin.
Putin, who is hosting Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, said Russia and Egypt could also discuss plans to set up a grain and energy hub in Egypt.
