April 1 (Reuters) - Nordic forward power prices fell on Wednesday, weighed down by forecasts for wetter, milder weather and weakness across broader European energy markets.
Nordic front-quarter baseload power contract NSBLQU26 fell 0.76 euros, or 1.7%, to 45.4 euros per megawatt hour (MWh) at 1103 GMT.
The Nordic front-year power contract NSBLYZ27 lost 0.9 euros, or about 2%, to 46.25 euros per MWh.
"We consider price falls very likely today, both because of the wet, mild forecasts and because related markets retreat noticeably as well," Mind Energy analysts said in a note.

Trump and his Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the end of the war on Iran could be near, signaling potential for both direct talks with Tehran's leadership and a winding down of the conflict even without a deal.
Power prices for Germany's year-ahead contract TRDEBYc1, Europe's benchmark, fell by 1.5 euros, or about 1.6%, to 92.5 euros per MWh.
In the European carbon market CFI2Zc1, the benchmark contract rose 1.62 euros, or 2.2%, to 74.13 euros per ton.
"Low pressure activity will affect western and southern Scandinavia with frequent rain and quite high amounts. Temperatures will be moderately high as well," LSEG meteorologist Georg Mueller said.
Nordic water reserves PCAEC00 were at 24.18 terawatt hours (TWh) below normal, compared with 22.31 TWh below normal on Tuesday.
The Nordic power price for next-day physical delivery FXSYSAL=NPX, or system price, gained 20.05 euros, or 27%, to 93.94 euros per MWh.
