BRUSSELS, March 31 (Reuters) - European Union energy ministers said that stronger coordination is needed on gas storage to avoid price spikes, though they agreed Europe's wider energy supply remains relatively safeguarded from the impact of the Iran war, Cyprus Energy Minister Michael Damianos said on Tuesday.
"We agreed that EU and national measures must be carefully designed, coordinated, targeted and tailored to the current situation, while remaining fully consistent with our long-term objectives," Damianos told reporters.
