Chevron's downstream assets at Wheatstone gas facility suffer extensive damage due to cyclone

SYDNEY, March 31 (Reuters) - Chevron CVX.N said on Tuesday that downstream assets at its Wheatstone liquefied natural gas facility in Western Australia suffered extensive damage from last week's tropical cyclone Narelle.

Chevron on Sunday said Wheatstone was unlikely to resume full production for several weeks as it repairs damage caused by the cyclone.
