HOUSTON, March 23 (Reuters) - U.S. oil companies have been inquiring about additional drilling in Alaska, White House energy adviser Jarrod Agen said on the sidelines of the CERAWeek energy conference in Houston on Monday.
Agen said there had been several meetings about increasing production in Alaska, especially with people connected to the North Slope.
The White House official also said that the EU needs to change methane regulations to ease US-EU energy trade.
