US Plains HRW Wheat-Basis mostly steady-to-mixed, Gulf basis dips

- Basis bids for hard red winter (HRW) wheat were steady to mixed in most markets in the southern U.S. Plains on Friday in sluggish trade, merchandisers said.

  • Protein premiums for railcar wheat to and through Kansas City rose 1 cent a bushel for wheat with 11.60 and 12.40 percent protein, but were unchanged for other grades. KCBT/SCA

  • On Friday, K.C. May HRW wheat futures KWK26 settled down 21 cents at $6.06-1/4 per bushel. GRA/
