Cuba rejects US request to bring in fuel, Washington Post reports

WASHINGTON, March 20 (Reuters) - Cuba has rejected a request by the U.S. Embassy in Havana to import diesel fuel for its generators this week amid nationwide blackouts, the Washington Post reported on Friday, citing diplomatic cables it reviewed.

The State Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
