MILAN, March 20 (Reuters) - Edison EDNn.MI has not received an official update on how long a pause in gas supplies from QatarEnergy will last, the chief executive of the Italian utility said on Friday after the production plant of the Middle East group was bombed.
"We will do what is needed to guarantee gas supplies to our customers anyway," Edison's Nicola Monti said.
QatarEnergy had previously notified a halt of gas supplies to Edison for April due to a Force Majeure event triggered by the conflict in Iran.
