REPORTS EMISSIONS FROM U29 FCCU 29P1 AT JV BORGER, TEXAS, REFINERY
REPORTS AN AGENCY REPORTABLE EXCESS OPACITY EMISSION EVENT OCCURRED ON MARCH 19, 2026 AT THE U29 FCCU
SAYS THE EVENT WAS REPORTABLE DUE TO EMISSIONS RESULTING IN OPACITY GREATER THAN 35% ON A 6-MINUTE AVERAGE AT THE FCCU WHEN THE ELECTROSTATIC PRECIPITATORS WENT OFFLINE (TOTAL DURATION 12 MINUTES).
SAYS OPERATIONS WORKED TO MINIMIZE EMISSIONS UNTIL SUCH A TIME THE ELECTROSTATIC PRECIPITATORS CAN BE RESTARTED
