US signs critical minerals deal with Brazil state, eyes federal agreement

SAO PAULO, March 18 (Reuters) - The United States signed on Wednesday a memorandum of understanding on critical minerals with Brazil's Goias state, in what U.S. Charge d'Affaires Gabriel Escobar described as a "win-win" partnership.

Escobar said Washington has also proposed an agreement at the federal level, which is currently under discussion.
