MOSCOW, March 11 (Reuters) - Russia's state nuclear corporation Rosatom is continuing to evacuate staff from Iran because of U.S.-Israeli attacks on the country, but around 450 of its personnel remain at the Bushehr nuclear power plant, the head of the company said on Wednesday.
Rosatom chief Alexei Likhachev said another 150 employees had left Bushehr overnight, crossed the border into neighbouring Armenia and were now en route to Russia.
Bushehr, built by Russia, is Iran's only operational nuclear power plant. Rosatom is building two additional units there but Likhachev said last week that construction work had halted.
On Monday, he said the situation around Bushehr remained tense but that there had been no strikes on either the plant or the construction site.
